Essential Protection for Devices

Essential Protection for Devices is a collection of data feeds that provide essential network protection for firewalls like OPNsense® or pfSense®, and publicly accessible servers.

IP addresses conducting malicious activities (including but not limited to hosting malware, phishing or command and control infrastructure, sending spam and scanning hosts) will eventually be added to our data feeds. These feeds can be used by our subscribers to block unwanted traffic.

Data quality

• We take precautions to not affect legitimate IP addresses by maintaining a list of well known public APIs and services and never adding them to our feeds. This list includes but is not limited to the following:
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Google APIs and Services including Gmail
  • Microsoft 365
  • Edge servers from CDN providers like Cloudflare, Bunny CDN, Fastly, or CDN77.

  Kindly note that this does not apply to user instances, e.g. Amazon AWS EC2 or customers' Google Cloud resources.

Prices start at €60 + VAT per year per device. All our subscriptions are sold via Paddle as our Merchant of Record (MoR).

Essential Protection for Devices ("SERVICE") consists of data feeds provided by
FSTPN Cyprus Limited ("FSTPN") (formerly "THREATINT (CYPRUS) LTD")
Company Register HE 401800, Cyprus (EU).

Please read these terms ("TERMS") carefully before subscribing to and using the SERVICE. Subscribing to and using the SERVICE implies your acceptance of these TERMS. If you do not accept these TERMS, please refrain from subscribing to and using the SERVICE.

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-licensable, non-sublicensable license to access and use our data feeds.
• Your subscription to our SERVICE grants access for use on a single device and within a single instance of an OS (operating system). Use of the SERVICE beyond one device or across multiple operating system instances is not permitted under the terms of this subscription. Any such unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination of your subscription without prior notice.
• FSTPN reserves the right to restrict, revoke or deny access to the SERVICE if these TERMS are not respected.
• Due to the nature of electronic communication processes, FSTPN does not guarantee or warrant uninterrupted, without delay, error-free, or omission-free operations of the SERVICE. Therefore, the information contained in the data feeds is 'as is' without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
• In no event shall FSTPN or any of its employees or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, consequential or other damages (including but not limited to, liability for loss of use, data or profits), without regard to the form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence or other tortious actions, arising out of or in connection with the use of the SUBSCRIPTION.
